1846892 - Now showing Pit no. 01
landscape
is gently rolling Northamptonshire farm land where a variety
of crops and animals are farmed. Situated part way up a gentle
slope from the High Street to the fields beyond, the cottage
sits on clay. The test pit is to be dug under the patio so an
inch of mortar must be removed, and as the site is very close
to a modern extension, circa 1988, it is anticipated that a
fair amount of building rubble will be unearthed.
